Detoxification in Ayurveda isn’t about extremes—it’s about supporting the body’s innate intelligence to release what no longer serves and replenish what it needs. In this class, we’ll explore how the liver and other detox pathways are viewed in Ayurveda, and how we can support them gently and consistently. We’ll work with Ayurvedic liver-supportive herbs like Guduchi, Bhumyamalaki, & Neem, as well as some complimentary western herbs like Dandelion & Milk Thistle, learning their energetics and actions on the body. You’ll learn how to identify signs of sluggish detoxification—such as skin issues, fatigue, or irritability—and how to bring more balance through herbs, food, and daily routines. This class offers a gentle, sustainable approach to detoxification rooted in nourishment, not deprivation—helping you feel clearer, lighter, and more in tune with your body’s natural rhythms. We’ll be making medicine together in class-bring your 4oz jar along to take home your herbal goodies!
